1.9 or 2.5

The rota saga continues, despite efforts by the chief to persuade cops to complain to the Fed that they do not want to work the pattern voted for by the majority, and despite his attempts publicly to try to show he is the good guy in all this, no agreement has been reached and the 8 hour seven on and 2 off starts at the end of January. BUT only for the cops, the PCSOs, Detention Officers and Comms staff who are not cops still have not had a vote, or any idea when they will get a vote, and are staying on the present 10 hour pattern of six on and four off. How long for though, will they eventually vote for 8 hours or the 'new' 10 hour pattern which will totally f*** things up.

The unions have not yet been able to get agreement on the pay rise for their members, this has historically been the same as the cops get and agreed after the figure is set for cops. So what will happen now, will they get 1.9% or 2.5%. If 2.5% will it be back dated to September. If not will industrial action be taken. If it is back dated how can that be fair, either way could be a loose - loose situation for this set of morons who claim to be a government, and all of their own making.
